Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Sean Litrakias

Coach Sean Litrakis played Varsity HS lacrosse for four years at St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen, NJ where he started on the crease for three years.  His senior year the team made the school’s first ever playoff appearance. He then went on to play college ball for Rutgers University where he was coached by Tom Hayes; 1989 Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee and 2012 Federation of International Lacrosse director as well as Lacrosse Magazines 2012 Person of the Year.

Litrakis attended the nation’s premier Lacrosse camp, Rutgers Lacrosse camp (run by Coach Hayes) for two seasons, one as a player and one as a coach.  He also played several years of competitive Adult Club for leagues such as the Jersey Shore Lacrosse League.

In 1998 Sean received a B.S. from Oregon State University. He was later hired as Defensive Coordinator for Corvallis High School Lacrosse in Feb of 2010 and went on for four seasons in that role. This culminated in the honor of being voted Assistant Coach of the year for the North Valley Conference 2013 where he assisted conference Coach of the Year Bob Fan (West Salem) during the North Valley vs High Desert All Star game that same year.

For the 2014 and 2015 seasons, Litrakis took the head coach position in Corvallis.

In 2016, Litrakis took the helm at West Salem HS from friend and fellow NJ native Bob Fan where he met with growing success. The Titans won three consecutive North Valley Conference championships (2016-2018) under Litrakis and his staff and he was honored as Conference coach of the year in both the 2016 and 2017 seasons. His teams were competitive and became known for hard work, grit, and a “never die” attitude while playing aggressive yet smart, lacrosse. The 2017 Titan defense finished the season ranked #1 in the state in goals allowed and their highest ever program rank, 17th.

Litrakis has fifty wins to his credit as an Oregon HS head coach and this, his second season as an assistant with TUALATIN, will be his 11th season coaching high school lacrosse.
