Youth Girls Program

Girls Youth Lacrosse is a non-contact sport. This does not mean the players will not accidently bump into each other or fall down. It does mean that the bumping, blocking, and stick checks of the boys program are not allowed.

Youth lacrosse teams are divided by gender and then by grade. Typical teams combine two grades: 3 & 4, 5 & 6, and 7 & 8. Youth teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches (who are trained by high school coaches). Teams practice two nights a week from early March through May. Games are played on weeknights (replace some practices) and Saturdays throughout the metro area. Girls lacrosse is a game of speed and finesse, not contact. No stick-to-stick contact is allowed until grade 7/8.

Registration fee

Fee for the season: $195 (3rd/4th, 5th/6th); $215 (7th/8th)

Withdrawal from the program for any reason prior to the first day of practice will result in a 50% refund of the registration fee, if already paid in full. If not paid in full, no refund will be given. After the first day of practice, no refund will be given.

Tualatin Youth Lacrosse offers a Pre-Season Conditioning and Skill Building Clinic for Youth Girls, 5th through 8th Grade. We are looking forward to an exciting year of Tualatin Lacrosse and want to get a jump on the fun.  We will be having two clinic sessions a week for seven (7) weeks, starting the first or second week of January and will end  a week before the first practice for the season.  Conditioning and Training will be every Monday and Wednesday, starting from 5:30 to 6:30 PM on the TuHS Turf Field.

We will have 15 minutes of conditioning followed by 45 minutes of skill building. Conditioning and skill building sessions will be led by the Tualatin Youth coaching staff.

We look forward to seeing all our players join us for this exciting new opportunity.  If your player is already in a winter sport or another winter activity and can only make one session a week , we encourage them to still join us!
