High School Boys Program

High school boys lacrosse is available to all high school-age boys who live in the Tigard-Tualatin school district boundary. Junior varsity (JV) is a developmental program, designed to build lacrosse skills and competitive experience. Varsity is a competitive program for more advanced players. Players will be placed on either the JV or Varsity team based on ability and attitude demonstrated during team practice and tryouts the first two weeks of practice. Coaches may also move players between the JV and Varsity teams during the season. Practice begins in February, games begin in March and continue through May.

Registration Fee

Fee for the 2018 season: $425. Fee may be reduced or eliminated by finding sponsors. See our Sponsorship page for more information. High school players do not pay the TuHS athletic pay-to-play fee. Club fee includes bus transportation to away games, referees, coaches, field equipment, league fees and use of uniforms. Fee does not include individual equipment.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Withdrawal from the program for any reason prior to the first day of practice will result in a 50% refund of the registration fee, if already paid in full. If not paid in full, no refund will be given. After the first day of practice, no refund will be given.

Required Equipment

All players: lacrosse helmet (preferably black), shoulder and elbow pads, gloves, athletic cup, mouth guard, cleats (football, soccer, or lacrosse), and lacrosse stick (short stick for attack/midfield, long stick for defense, long-stick midfield). Goalie: helmet (preferably black) with attached neck guard, chest guard, gloves, athletic cup, mouth guard, cleats (football, soccer, or lacrosse), and goalie stick. Equipment will be required by the first full practice date. If you have questions about required equipment, please contact us.

High school uniforms will be provided to all players. Uniforms belong to the club and must be returned in good condition or a replacement fee may be charged.
